New club equipment

It is not every day that our club benefits from another club’s generosity – last year, we were blessed with the gift of the Richard Dunning from Sudbury RC which has made a tremendous impact among our members, even seeing action in our last race, Danson Dashes 2022) 

Hillingdon Rowing Club (where our secretary Michèle used to row), a community club in north-west London, is currently awaiting for a decision to be made regarding their new home, having lost their training ground and facilities to the HS2 project in 2020. They have very generously agreed to donate some of their old equipment to us, including two double-scull shells and a coxless quad-scull shell. 

These boats will make a huge difference in our club, and allow more scullers to be out at the same time. We really can’t thank Hillingdon RC enough for their fabulous generosity.
